On Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at around 12:30pm, a man looking for wildflowers in State Gamelands 170 discovered the skeletal remains of this unknown male. He was found at the bottom of a steep embankment in a secluded area off of Idle Road in Rye Twp. The location is not visible from the road.
Based on leaf cover, condition of the remains and other evidence, it is believed that the remains may have been there anywhere from seven to twenty months prior to being found meaning that he may have gone missing any time between the fall of 2012 and fall of 2013.
