Case Details The last time Willie's parents saw him was on February 25, 1994 as he was leaving their home on West Oak Lane in Philadelphia. He was heading back to the room he rented on N 23rd Street near W Venango. His neighbors saw him the following day but, since then, no trace of Willie has been found. Willie's family reported him missing on March 3, 1994 when they went to his apartment to check up on him and found it in disarray. Willie's family distributed fliers throughout the area, called every hospital in the yellow pages and contacted the morgue. They scraped together a $500 reward. Police not only checked the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office, but also those in neighboring counties. They checked hospitals, prisons, notified the Philadelphia mental health network and entered his information into NCIC, but Willie has never been found.
Willie always kept in touch with his family, so it is very unlikely that he would have disappeared voluntarily.
