Unidentified White Female
Found December 8, 2006 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County

Vital Statistics

Estimated Age: 34 to 65 yrs
Estimated Height: 5'4" to 5'8"
Estimated Weight: undetermined
Hair Color: brown/auburn
Eye Color: unknown
Medical: arthritis on the lumbar vertibrae
State of Remains: partial skeleton, the head and small bones of the feet were not present with the remains.
Clothing: the clothing was decayed and soil ridden.  Found was thin, white cloth, possibly from a blouse, skirt or dress, with no pattern, size or brand evident.  Dark colored nylon knee high stockings.
Jewelry: yellow metal necklace and charm.  The charm was a sorority key (pictured above), missing some stones, inscribed with "AZB" (Alpha Zeta Beta), E. Mathis, Life Member.
Other: Four red, acrylic fingernails were recovered.
DNA: Available
Estimated Year of Death: 1991

Case Details

The victim's skeletal remains were found in a black plastic trash bag in a vacant lot near 100 E. Tusculum Street in the Kensington Area of Philadelphia.  The bones were mixed in with soil.  It appeared that they had been dug up from another location and dumped in the lot.
