Dennison Twp John Doe Found September 17, 1996 in Dennison Twp, Luzerne County
Vital Statistics Race: Black Estimated Age: 30-35 years old, but possibly older Estimated Height: 5'9" to 6' Estimated Weight: 170 to 200 lbs Distinguishing Characteristics: there were no marks, scars or tattoos. Clothing: Levi's blue jeans (36" waist/34" inseam), a black belt and white socks.
Case Details On September 17, 1996 a worker from the state Department of Transportation discovered the victims body about 20-25 feet north of I-80 in Dennison Twp, near the Foster Twp line. The victim was partially clothed (no shirt) and was partially wrapped in a multi-colored comforter. His legs had been bound with white, nylon twine at the knees. He appeared to have been dragged to the area where he was discovered.
